Ingredients

Glass: 5 oz Martini
Method: shake & fine strain
37.5ml VS cognac
12.5ml Blanco rum
12.5ml Cointreau
25ml lemon juice
12.5ml sugar syrup
Lemon twist to garnish

Method

Put all the ingredients into a mixing glass and fill with ice. Cap with a Boston shaker and shake for a few seconds. Fine strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Garnish

Spray lemon oils from the peel over the drink and garnish with a lemon twist tucked into the foam. Sugar coat the rim if you like.

This drink’s background has been lost in history, however, this classic mix does resemble that of a Daiquiri and Sidecar combined.
