Do you know what the perfect cup of coffee tastes like?

Learn some secrets of the professional barista: the coffee beans, the grind, pouring an espresso, milk dynamics and how not to burn the milk when making a latte. You will learn about coffees from around the world and which coffees go in which blends and why. Then you get some practical time driving the espresso machine.

You will be taught by some of the best barista trainers in the industry. This course will give you all the information you need to get started in your coffee career, but you will only become a true barista after many, many hours of tasting and making coffee.

The first practical thing to learn is 'how to pour a perfect espresso' this is the same question as 'how long is a piece of string?' It is an art form. Once this skill is mastered then milk dynamics is one of the big difference makers as you will notice burnt milk before most things in your coffee.

Most baristas are taught on the job, and if you are lucky enough to work under a great barista who has the time to take you under his wing then you can't get a better start. Of course, finding the job with the perfect trainer is a bit of a mission and it is of course easier to book a Barista course to give you the right start in your coffee learning journey. There is plenty of great information on the internet but if you are not sure what you need to be studying first and you would like some practical supervised learning then a physical course is the best way.

The 1-day course is ideal if you are not quite sure you want to take the plunge. It will give you an excellent overview of the essential skills a barista should have, and a lot of great starting points to build on. The 1-day course also makes a great present for the coffee fanatic. The 3-day course will take you much more in depth and gives you more chance to practice your skills with our experienced teachers. The 3-day course is recommended for those serious about a career in the coffee industry.
